Bethel was named “the greatest ski town in the universe” by Ski Magazine, and is home to the massive Sunday River ski area which spans 8 peaks to ski and ride on, allowing for a wide range of trails fit for all experience levels. In the quaint historic village of Bethel you'll find activities ranging from cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and even dog sledding. Indoor activities range from an indoor climbing wall, laser tag, a movie theater and shopping. You could also chose to take a walk through the beautiful National Historic District.
