Beaver Cove is a small, seasonal community to the north of Greenville, Maine with just over 90 year-round residents. Beaver Cove rests in a cove on the east edge of Moosehead Lake. This Maine village is located near the Lily Bay State Park, a popular site to launch boats in to Moosehead Lake.
The first seasonal camps in Beaver Cove started appearing during the 1920's, long before there was any direct road access to the area. In the 1950's, Huber Lumber Corporation started building a designer community along the banks of Moosehead Lake as well as the Beaver Cove Marina, and won an award for best new community design.
