Bath Maine is located along the sparkling Kennebec River and was recently deemed one of the best small cities in America! Bath is also the home to the world-class shipbuilder Bath Iron Works. At the south end of the city the nationally acclaimed Maine Maritime Museum is often visited by Tall Ships. Bath was first settled in the 1640's when it was originally called Long Reach. Later on the name was changed to Bath after the famous English city, which was a popular English resort during this time.
