Hiking With Your Canine In Maine
ME State Parks
|
Hiking with your canine companion in Maine can be done very easily. All of the State Parks in Maine allow pets. Pets, however, do have to be on leash not exceeding four feet in length. Pet owners must immediately pick up all feces deposited by one's pet.
Sebago State Park, located between Naples and South Casco, Maine does not allow pets on beaches on or in the park campground. This only applies if one is planning on camping there overnight.
There are so many parks to choose from in the State of Maine that when visiting, you or your canine companion will never be bored.
