Main has over 12,500 miles of snowmobile trails, 2,500 miles of which comprise the Interconnected Trail System (ITS) which allows uninterrupted travel throughout the state. The Maine Snowmobile Association (MSA), with the support of the Maine Department of Conservation, have developed the expansive network of signed and groomed trails that travel over privately owned land in every corner of the state. Club members are proud of the system of trails they have created over the past three decades, and it shows. For three consecutive years, Maine Snowmobile Association groomer operators from Jackman, Pittston Farm and Millinocket have been selected by Arctco as among the best in the nation.
