Peaks-Kenny State Park
Peaks-Kenny is one of the most family-friendly of the beaches surveyed. It includes a large lawn and playground area, picnic tables, grills, horseshoe pits, an amphitheater, and a well-maintained changing room with showers. Call ahead if you’d like to reserve spots for a group picnic in a separate, sheltered area.
Lily Bay State Park
This park has facilities for fishing, canoeing, lake swimming, as well as hiking, cross-country ski and snowmobile trails. A public camping facility is available.
